Proposed Methodology for End-of-Life Option using Multi Criteria Decision Analysis: A Study for General Paper Product

Over the years, world population has been growing exponentially. This growth affects number of waste products due to increased production, which leads greater environmental impact and other problems. There are different numbers product end-of-life (EOL) options handle based on characteristics. research is designed develop a methodology determine best EOL option for paper using analytical hierarchy process (AHP). AHP one multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) methods employed select by considering user’s preferences output competing related criteria. A graphical user interface (GUI) called AHP-based software was developed Microsoft Excel through programming function Visual Basic Applications as facilitating tool when conducting analysis. The case study technique applied five types assess capability proposed software. Results from reveal that recycling most suitable compared techniques. However, polluted with ink or food coating may not be this method. assists users identify sustainable ways condition.
